tools, deploys infrastructure, and patiently explains that a {shiny} app is a
serious piece of software like any other. His playground: data & software
engineering, web applications (frontend and backend), and the long unglamorous
road that takes R code all the way to production.

By night, he is an active open source developer and advocate: main developer of
{golem} and the wider golemverse, lead author of "Engineering Production-Grade
Shiny Apps", and he travels the world to complain about computers in front of
an audience.

Colin writes R for a living and runs absurdly long distances for fun. He eats
only plants, listens to music that sounds like a chainsaw falling down a flight
